This text is a short address to the FAQ about the shoot organisation and is intended to help, so please read carefully – most of your questions are probably addressed here.

Photosesssion:

– if the shooting is on the paid location (I have a studio that is included in price), then the client is responsible for covering the rent, same about styling and HMUA. I can provide contacts for the professionals I work with.

– photos are usually ready in two weeks, guaranteed readiness is within three weeks. Urgent editing as also possible at extra fee.

Usage of the photos:

– by default, you can use all the edited photos for non-commercial purposes, however, no editing is allowed.
– accepted rates allow me to use photos in my portfolio and other promo materials, if you’d like to keep privacy of the photos, add £120 to all rates and £200 to wedding photos
– if you need photos for commercial use, please discuss beforehand.

Misunderstanding:

– I return the money back only if for some reason the photos were not delivered to you (damage to the film, the memory card or the hard disk drive). If you are not happy with the photos, probably, I am not the best photographer for you.

How much does it cost

Portraits / headshots for actors

1 hour session:  £180
(£300 for private session)

1 hour session package includes 3 edited photos. These can be taken in my studio, or your location.

2 hours session:  £300
(£420 for private session)

2 hour session package includes 7 edited photos. These can be taken in my studio, or your location.

3 hours session:  £420
(£570 for private session)

3 hour session package includes 11 edited photos. These can be taken in my studio, or your location

Extra edited photos can be purchased on a per-photo basis.

Urgent delivery is £40 extra per 1 hour session,  £60 for two hour and £80 per 3+ hour session. Delivery date for urgent delivery depends on the number of photos.

Portfolio update for models

Corporate headshots

Individuals:  £150 30 min studio session + 3 edited photos – session in my studio
(Offered rate allows me to use photos in my portfolio – discuss if otherwise) 

Teams of 20 members and less:  £150 booking rate + £60 p/p – these can be taken either in my studio, or at your office. Allow 12 minutes per person + 24 minutes break every two hours.

Teams of 20+ members :  £750 booking rate + £30 p/p – these can be taken either in my studio, or at your office. Allow 12 minutes per person + 12 minutes break every two hours.

This packages include one professionally taken and edited headshot per person delivered as a digital file in colour and monochrome versions. Team photo is also included.

Extra edited photos can be purchased on a per-photo basis.

Urgent delivery is £60 extra for teams up to 12, £100 for teams up to 30, and £120 for larger teams.

Personal portrait sessions

1 hour session:  £250
(£370 for private session)

1 hour session package includes 6 edited photos. These can be taken in my studio, or your location.

2 hours coverage:  £450

2 hours reportage photoshoot package – I will return all the good photos taken in digital format (expect 70+ photos).

3 hours coverage:  £650

3 hours reportage photoshoot package – I will return all the good photos taken in digital format (expect about 120+ photos)

full day coverage £1650
(£1900 for private session)

full day (up to 10 hours) reportage photoshoot package – I will return all the good photos taken in digital format (expect about 300+ photos).

All packages include pre-shoot consultation and advice on the best practices.  Full retouch is also possible and is charged as an extra on per-photo basis, for any of the delivered photos.

Events coverage

1 hour coverage:  £200
(by default I can use photos in my portfolio)

5 hours coverage:  £800

I will return all the good photos taken colour corrected  in digital format (expect about 60 photo per hour)

Film shoots

Lessons

I teach whatever I can do myself for the past 25 years or so, and the photographic subjects I cover include:

• use of digital and film cameras,
• studio lighting
• portrait photography
• headshot photography
• analog photography
• film development
• analogue hand printing

2 hour lesson is £150, discounts for multi-lesson packages.

Notes:

For an one hour of shooting, a maximum of two different outfits or their absence is a reasonable amount, three extra outfits for any extra hour.

Students and academics!

If you are a student or a researcher, do not hesitate to write also, it is probably difficult for you to earn money. This relates to individual  shoots only.

How to book:

1. Contact me about your session, tell what kind of photos would you like to get, and to agree on the location, time and date. Only after these details are settled, we can proceed to the booking.
2. Transfer a deposit of 1/3 of the photoshoot price to book the time and date.
3. The rest 2/3 are paid on the date of the photoshoot. Payment for extra edited photos is paid before delivery. I don’t start edits until I get the full payment.

Free option

I believe that everything in the world should be free, but there are few people like me, so I take money from people the same way people take money from me. However, once in one’s life, almost everyone can shoot with me for free – in the project Virgins of Nude (nude photoshoot of people who have never done this before) or Flowers and Elements.
